Nose Fillers

Cosmetology

When you meet someone, you naturally notice their facial features, such as their eyes, nose, mouth, and eyebrows. Many people are drawn to individuals with distinctive facial features. However, not everyone is born with high, prominent nasal bridges that enhance the facial bone structure. While small and button noses might appear cute, some find them less attractive, particularly among women in Southeast Asia. As a result, rhinoplasty, particularly among celebrities worldwide, has become a popular solution. Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that improves the nose’s shape by inserting medical-grade materials to create the illusion of a higher, more defined nasal bridge. However, many consider this procedure too invasive, expensive, and risky. Consequently, non-surgical methods like fillers and thread lifts have emerged, offering a desirable outcome without surgical intervention.

Nose fillers are non-surgical, reversible treatments using hyaluronic acid, carefully injected into the tip of the nose. Additionally, the nose thread lift, particularly popular in Korea, has undergone clinical testing and approval, ensuring you don’t have to worry about complications. Unlike rhinoplasty, which is permanent, the effects of nose fillers and thread lifts are shorter—lasting from 6 to 12 months for fillers and 9 to 12 months for thread lifts, yet they are less costly than traditional rhinoplasty.

HIKO Filler

The HIKO filler, also known as a nose thread lift, is a widely adopted procedure in Korea. It is an advanced technique developed in Seoul that achieves the aesthetic results of rhinoplasty without the need for surgery and extensive recovery time. “HIKO” translates to “nose lift” in Korean, with “hi” meaning high and “ko” referring to the nose. This method is a pioneering blend of traditional dermal fillers and non-surgical threads, marking a breakthrough in aesthetic medicine and dermatology.

Many Korean women look up to celebrities like Song Hye Kyo as the standard for their nose thread lifts. Who wouldn’t want to have a nose like hers? With our non-surgical nose enhancement using the HIKO filler, this is wonderfully achievable. Moreover, unlike traditional nose fillers, the HIKO filler is completely biocompatible with the body’s components, naturally dissolving over time after achieving its peak effect. The HIKO filler creates a slimmer nose illusion, unlike regular fillers that might broaden and spread over time. Furthermore, its results last longer compared to traditional nose fillers.

Procedure

Nose Fillers

If you decide to opt for the HIKO filler treatment, you will first undergo a thorough examination to ensure that nothing will interfere with the procedure. You may also enhance this treatment with other cosmetic therapies recommended by a dermatologist. Initially, you will be offered a skin analysis using a specialized device that evaluates your skin condition and suggests appropriate cosmetic treatments. Following this, you will be guided to a dermatologist for a second consultation, where you will learn everything you need to know about the HIKO filler and receive advice on any additional required treatments. To help manage any pre-procedure anxiety and ensure a calm experience during the treatment, you will be given a soft toy. The doctor will then disinfect your face, administer local anesthetics to the nose tip, bridge, and septum to prevent any discomfort during the thread insertion. Depending on your desired outcome, the doctor will insert four to eight threads to achieve the required height and shape of your nose. If an enhanced nasal tip is desired, threads will also be inserted through the nasal tip and columella.
