Every year, we send hundreds of patients for treatment at dental clinics in Korea. The most popular procedure is the installation of crowns, veneers, and lumineers (in Korean clinics, crown installation takes only 60 minutes, while veneers and lumineers take from 4 to 7 hours). You can achieve a Hollywood smile in Korea at half the cost of Dubai or the USA, and the level of technology and skills of our dentists are among the best in the world.
Installation of veneers and lumineers
In South Korea, you can achieve your dream Hollywood smile in just 1 day! If your teeth are misshapen, too small, have chips, spots, or have a yellowish or grayish tint, veneers or lumineers can help. Modern installation techniques require minimal tooth reshaping, and in some cases, no reshaping is necessary at all, so there’s no need to fear pain or complications in your future dental treatments.
Some patients believe that installing just one veneer on a problematic tooth is sufficient. In such cases, we recommend choosing crown installation instead – its color will not differ from your other teeth, the result looks natural, and it can last for decades. Veneers are best installed in even numbers, from 4 to 20 pieces on visible teeth in the smile zone. If you think that lower teeth are not visible while speaking, you’re mistaken – the contrast between pearly white upper teeth and yellowish lower teeth is very noticeable. Therefore, it’s essential to undergo teeth whitening for the teeth not covered by veneers to achieve an aesthetically pleasing and expensive-looking smile.
The process of installing veneers or lumineers can be completed within a few hours, thanks to our in-house laboratory. However, if your teeth require dental treatment, the process may extend over several days. Make sure to plan for this when coming to South Korea.
Cavity treatment
Cavities can develop in people of all ages due to various factors such as improper hygiene, inadequate nutrition, vitamin deficiencies, hereditary conditions, exposure to cold, and more. It’s crucial to pay close attention to children’s dental health as cavities can progress rapidly and may not be visibly pigmented, making them challenging to detect. We recommend filling a cavity immediately upon detection; failure to do so can lead to increased pain, the development of pulpitis, and even sepsis.
Braces, invisalign, and aligners
According to global statistics, over 40% of middle school students require dental bite correction. Approximately half of them have the opportunity to receive dental treatment, while the rest do not, meaning that one in five adults has issues with jaw alignment and chewing. Braces can correct a variety of problems, such as an underdeveloped or protruding chin, temporomandibular joint pain, chewing difficulties, and more.
According to orthodontists, the best time to get braces is at the age of 11-12. If you missed this window and seek treatment as an adult, whether you’re 18 or 70, it will require a bit more time and emotional resilience. Is it worth it? Absolutely, self-confidence and dental health are worth the effort!
Today, there are many ways to correct your bite and straighten your teeth, and it’s not always necessary to wear bulky metal braces. Less noticeable options include ceramic braces (with white brackets), lingual (internal) braces, and even clear aligners. Most clients prefer the discreet and removable aligners, though the final decision on which braces system suits the patient is made by the treating dentists.
Don’t forget that any bite correction and tooth repositioning requires regular visits to the dentist for adjustments.
Implants and bridges
Many people encounter the problem of missing one or several teeth during their lifetime. Some lose them due to accidents, illnesses, or unhealthy habits, while others may have been born without them, leading to bite issues, misalignment of the dental arch, and aesthetic defects.
To address this situation, there are two options: dental implants and bridge-like prostheses. Each of these methods has its own pros and cons, so it’s essential to explore them and consult with an orthodontist before making a decision.
Tooth whitening
In all countries, white teeth are a sign of a person’s health and cleanliness. Unfortunately, even if you were lucky enough to be born without a yellowish tint, enamel can darken with age, causing you to hide your smile or cover your mouth with your hands when laughing. To restore your confidence, scientists have developed the technology of laser tooth whitening. Depending on your length of stay in Korea, the procedure can be completed in one day or over three days with a one-week interval. To maintain the results, dentists advise quitting smoking and avoiding beverages such as tea, coffee, red wine, or fresh juice. We also recommend using a home maintenance kit to keep your teeth as white as possible and your smile bright and joyful. This doesn’t eliminate the need for regular dental cleanings but helps maintain their color.
Wisdom tooth extraction
Normally, wisdom teeth do not cause discomfort and do not require removal. Unfortunately, many people have them grow at incorrect angles, causing severe pain, shifting of the dental arch, caries formation, or making orthodontic treatment impossible.
In these cases, it is necessary to consult an experienced dental surgeon for tooth extraction. There are two methods to do this: in the first, the tooth is loosened and extracted with forceps, while in the second, it is fractured and removed in pieces. Depending on the situation, local anesthesia or intravenous sedation may be used.
Dental surgeries and other procedures
Not every clinic can perform procedures such as tooth extraction, implant placement, or correction of maxillofacial defects. That’s why patients come to Korea – thanks to modern equipment and surgeon training systems, dental surgeries are conducted here quickly and painlessly.
Before & After
Step 1: Fill out the QUESTIONNAIRE
First and foremost, you need to fill out a form. This will help us and the surgeons better understand your expectations and review your medical history. In the form, be sure to provide your personal information, details about any previous surgeries, and your current health condition. Unfortunately, patients with HIV infection are not eligible for plastic surgeries in Korea.
Step 2: Attach photos
Attaching photos of the areas of your body or face that you would like to have corrected is a crucial step. This allows us to make a preliminary cost estimate and direct you to a specialist who can address your concerns.
Step 3: Submit and wait for confirmation
After submitting the form and photos, your application will be reviewed, and we will contact you to confirm details and schedule a consultation.
Step 4: Prepare for the consultation
Prepare a list of questions you would like to ask the coordinator and surgeon during the consultation. We recommend bringing a phone with notes or a notepad to help you stay organized and obtain all the information you need. Additionally, you can always ask any questions you have in a personal chat created for discussing the details of your trip.
